Whilst a blocked DPF is a problem for you – for us it is a symptom.

DPFs usually block due to other problems and sometimes cleaning is not enough, you need the problem professionally identified and rectified, if not done correctly the unit will simply block again after cleaning. At DPF Direct we take the time to correctly diagnose the faults and advise prior to carrying out any remedial work the exact problem and correct repair procedure and cost, it is not always neccessary to carry out a DPF clean... it could simply be a split pipe or failed sensor at fault!

Should a clean be required dependant on what our diagnosis found at DPF Direct we have solution for cleaning your DPF either on or off your vehicle. If the DPF is found to be blocked with soot due to a faulty part, poor running or lots of stop/start journeys then we can clean the DPF on your car using TerraClean patented equipment. Alternatively if the DPF is blocked with oil, ash or additive (psa engines) which simply cannot be cleaned by ANY system whilst the unit is on the vehicle, we have an in-house flash cleaning machine for cleaning these DPFs off the vehicle.

• DPF Direct service centre technicians have been trained to diagnose and understand how to resolve problems with your vehicle.

• Once the issue has been resolved, if necessary, the clean will be done. It is possible that resolution of the problem may enable the vehicle to “regenerate” (self-clean), and your vehicle is back up and running without the cleaning service and the blockage will not reoccur.
