This Nissan Juke was brought in with a DPF fault after the owner had been advised by another repairer that the DPF was “knackered” and the best solution was to ‘remove it & map it out’!
Thankfully the owner knew better and brought it to us👍
We found the dpf to be in great shape but the DPF pressure sensor had failed and melted a small pipe... new sensor & pipe fitted, the error lights went out and the vehicle did a regen whilst on road test☺️
A lot of mechanics say the DPF is the work of the devil and that they cause numerous problems!!! Truth is DPF faults are usually the symptom of another fault! Which is why we work hard to find and fix the fault first💪
