Skoda Superb Taxi in with DPF faults.
It had melted the pressure sensor the other week & damaged some wiring which had already been rectified but the vehicle was still in limp mode!
We found the DPF pressure to be quite high (2.5psi at idle & 7psi under load) and one fault for an injector.
We carried out our on vehicle Terraclean DPF clean which saw the pressures come down to 0.5psi at idle and 1.5psi under load which is pretty normal until they’ve had a run. And once the vehicle was all put back together an extended road test was carried out… watching live data we monitored it doing a dynamic regen over the distance of around 15 miles before the ecu had recalibrated and the temperatures dropped back to normal.
With it being a taxi it was time critical to get it done ASAP and so the whole job was completed the same day ready to go back out to work👍
The owner is having the injector looked at by his usual mechanic in the next few days but as explained this was probably the cause of the blockage!
