So this Vauxhall Antara had been to another garage with a DPF fault… she was advised that the repair would be around £1000!!!!
Thankfully she couldn’t afford it and started looking around for a cheaper solution.
She found our details and booked in… on first inspection the DPF was measuring a high soot loading at 79% but minimal back pressure? The owner had already authorised a Terraclean DPF clean for her own piece of mind and so we completed this which brought the soot loading down to 1%, now for the correct diagnosis as to why it was storing excess soot… a visual inspection found a split boost hose! We have ordered the new pipe which we’ll receive it the next couple of days but all in the complete diagnostics, clean and new boost hose comes to £290!
A massive saving over the previous garage and the correct diagnosis & repair💪
Don’t be ripped off by garages who haven’t got a clue! Bring your vehicle to the professionals and have it repaired correctly first time.
