We had this Volkswagen Crafter motorhome in for a rather large 38 litre underslung gas tank to be fitted.
Using custom made brackets we installed it across the rear of the chassis parallel with the axle to avoid any impact.
We then fitted a discreet sill mounted fill point, internal two tap manifold and connected up the gas heater/water heater👍
